High end games crashes

Hi there,

I bought my new PC recently and I have a problem, that "high end" games like Metro Exodus etc. are just crashing over and over and idk why... games like LoL and CS:GO works fine...

I tried everything to fix it, like updating every driver i could find, reinstaling windows, disabling multithreading, downgrading RAM clock speed atc.

but now i just noticed that temperature on CPU is so high without work... but I dont understand that, I have 240mm water cooling and one of the best thermal compound...

 

Can you help me with that please ?

Is this a pre-built PC or you've built it yourself?

There is something wrong with the cooler. Its either broken, not installed correctly or something else like you forgot to peel off the little plastic from the cold plate.

Have you connected the pump, and made sure its working?  Can you heard the pump working? Try grabbing the tubes, one should be warmer than other.

Speccy might not be showing you the real temperatures. Please use Ryzen Master from AMD, it's the most correct software for temperature monitoring on AMD Ryzen. The alternatives would be HWMonitor and HWInfo64.

The latest bios (UEFI) on the board? Memory XMP settings loaded (Asus calls them DOCP on AMD)?

If the PSU were the problem, the games wouldn't crash - the whole system would either turn off or restart.

When the games crash, you're returned to the desktop, no blue screens, right?
