Hi there,

I recently got the LG gram 14z980 (14")

It only came with 250gb storage and I've seen there are videos showing you can upgrade to a 1tb m.2.

I was wondering if there would be any downsides like the laptop running hotter or having a lesser battery life after the upgrade?

Thanks for any help

Unlikely. M.2 SSDs aren't a very significant source of heat or power draw.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
