I expect most of them can be disabled in task manager "start up items" or in msconfig for the service based ones. As far as I know you can kill them all and the drivers will still work fine in games. I expect some of it is telemetry. If you're someone who doesn't like that stuff it would make sense to shut it off.

thats how i always install them yet all this bloat crap is still there lol
