Hi,

My computer has been working completely fine for the past year or so but lately my computer have been encountering BSOD namely "Page_fault_In_Nonpaged_Area" or "Critical_Process_Died". It happened a few times until I get annoyed and decided to format and install a fresh copy Windows 10 from my usb flash drive. This BSOD problem still exists when I'm installing and setup couldn't finish installation because of this error. These are the few things that I tried:

  1. Rum memtest86 on my old ram, turns out theres 1 error, swap in new 8gb ram. Still encountering this error while installing.

  2. Running chkdsk, crystaldiskinfo on the drive using my laptop. Shows no error.

  3. Put in my laptop hard drive into the system (with working windows), will still get the BSOD error after around 1-2 mins of login

  4. Update to the latest bios for my motherboard

  5. Load optimal default setup on my BIOS

I feel like I'm running out of options. I can't even get pass my desktop to show any dump files. I don't think its a driver issue because it happened when I'm installing windows? I suspect this is a hardware issue, could it be my motherboard or processor? Since I tested out both new ram and drive and they work just fine. Please help, my specs are:

OS: Windows 10 Home 64 bit

SSD: Samsung Evo 500gb

Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus X hero

Processor: Intel Core i7 8700K + TT Water 3.0

RAM: 16gb corsair

Video Card: GTX 1080

PSU: Corsair RM650

Thanks in advance
