Ryzen ram?

I want 32gb of ram and I find 2x16gb kits affordably but when I research their model numbers they are not the "Amd"ram per the ram makers sites. All the "amd" ram I find is stupid expensive!

Is it ok to use non approved ram? I found 32gb of 16gbx2 3200mhz 16-18-18-36 for 214 bucks.

Pls help

Look more closely at your motherboard's approved list, than the RAM manufacturers verified list. The RAM manufacturers don't have the time or money that the motherboard manufacturers do.

Ty! That is a great price for 32gb but I am a bit hesitant with the red my build will be black and white( I know it's over done but I like it lol) I am mostly going to game and streaming/multi tasking but my wife bought me a go pro so me and a few friends might make dumb videos and I heard more ram for video editing helps. I'm also splurging on intel 660p nvme drives ( 1tb boot and 2tb storage)since they are actually cheaper than the wd blue data drives I was planning to purchase!

Most people go with Samsung B die double side for speed oc potential. I'm using right now a Hynix C Die kit 3000mhz(rated) pushed to 3200 CL14

It makes barely any difference even when doing cpu heavy tasks like video editing compared to 3000mhz CL16. And especially for the $100+ price tag it's not worth it.

Infinity fabric likes tighter timings with speed aka more cpu performance with how it works.

That's what you would think until a certain point where you reach diminishing returns.

There is always diminishing returns with everything honestly. But even I wouldn't push anyone to B-Die kits unless they are going to be doing just benching. Hynix C die was perfect for me and my 2x16GB kit of Ripjaws was less than 200$
