Stacked at Logo

Go to solution Solved by Rehnee,

I replaced my PSU with another one that is working. :)

I am troubleshooting a computer these days and this computer worked after testing different rams and finding out that one of them is working.

I ran this computer when it is still working but it hangs so I shut it down manually by pressing the power button.

My problem now is that when I press the power button on this computer, it connects to the monitor only to see the logo and it is stacked up there.

I have tested to remove the jumper for the PSU on the motherboard and it did let me access the POST, but it showed the following problems there:

cmos settings wrong

over current status detected

So what i did after that is to attach the jumper back to the PSU again and powered the computer on, but I get the same issue. The logo is still stacked up there.

My computer specification to be troubleshoot are:

motherboard: asus p5sd2-vm

ram: KINGMAX KLDE88F-B8KWS DDR2-800 2GB

graphics: sis 968 integrated graphics

processor: intel pentium dual core

PSU: rise p4-600w

hard drive: deskstar 250gb hdd
