I have 2 monitors and 2 keyboards.

When i am at monitor No2 i cannot see monitor No1.

On display settings i have selected show only No1.

When i want to watch at No2 i go over to monitor No1 and turn it off.

How can i do that without having to go to monitor No1 and turn it off?

I am assuming you mean software switching?  Like a macro key or something (I've run into a situation where I need to switch between different monitors and always opening up the software to do it feels slow and clunky).

The solution I used was create .bat files with the commands

displayPrimary.bat

Inside the file put

DisplaySwitch.exe /internal

displaySecondary.bat

The text being

DisplaySwitch.exe /External

You can do the same for extend and clone.

so wait... you have two monitors, but you only use one at a time? so you turn monitor 1 off to watch on monitor 2? that doesn't even make sense to have 2 monitors then...

what yo should do is have them together, so then you can use both of them, otherwise its pointless to have 2

th first thing to do is to try and find a remote for that monitor so you can use it like a tv

Ye it does i have one for my bed and one for my desk.

the second thing would be to rig up a system that would press the power button when you pull a peice of fishing line or something, other than that idk how you could do that other than sell the other monitor and buy a tv

It is a TV. I just said monitor to simplify the problem.

saying monitor actually misleads the answers, since tvs and monitor are actually vastly diferent

I've been in your situation before, and know how frustrating it can be to not know the command line for something.

Glad it worked
