I opened Task Manager today to discover that my GPU usage was higher than what it usually is. It's usually at 0-1% usage (while not playing games), but today it was somewhere in the range of 0-45% (it went up and down through values.) I notice it jumps whenever I move my mouse or open/close windows, which is abnormal for my PC. The main things causing the high usage are the Windows processes dwm.exe and csrss.exe. Here are my specs:

Intel i7-6700

Nvidia GTX 1080

16 GB DDR4 RAM

(I also use a 1080p 144Hz monitor)

Is this type of GPU usage "jumping" normal or a cause for concern? If it's abnormal, how can I fix it?

(Keep in mind that this is occurring while I am NOT in-game. I haven't tested to see if it happens while in-game or if it affects in-game performance.)

I certainly haven't seen it go above 1%.  Maybe a temporary driver bug?
