First gaming laptop

So I’m  making the switch from counsel to pc.  Single dad with two kids I don’t get a lot of personal time, gaming laptop makes the most sense.  I’ve been watching YouTube videos and reading reviews for a week and I feel more lost than ever. Looking for something under 2k that covers all the bases and what accessories I really need. Portability is not really an issue, primarily playing in the livening room while the kids watch tv.

Thanks for the help

Why not go for a dell inspiron 15 Gaming? They are well under budget? What are your Must haves? The acer Predator 15 is a great choice for around 1600. MSI ge series are nice.

I guess that’s my problem I get so cought up in the details I can’t decide. Iv been looking at the acre predictor 300 especially the special edition, Razer Blade 15, Msi stealth, Asus scar and Asus zephyrus. I just don’t know what I’ll be happier with a year from now ??‍♂️

I’m from US and almost exclusively gaming. Weight really isn’t a factor and battery life is of minimal importance.
