bitfenix whisper m 550w, be quiet! straight power 11, or corsair RMx 2018 , whichever is the cheapest 

 

although i would put some bias on the former two because of their multi rail compared to the rmx's single rail

I would look for Bitfenix Whisper M, Corsair RMx, Seasonic Focus or be quiet pure power/straight power 11.

bitfenix is not available, nor is RMx. then it's either seasonic (focus plus gold 650) or be quiet! (pure power 11). what wattage would you advice with possible upgrades in mind? 600 or 700 (talking about bq!) (my build r5 2600, rtx 2070 (i want to upgrade to r7 3700 later this year))

I would recommend the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 650 then. It should have enough wattage for upgrades.

I'd get the SS FPG. Though you might consider BitFenix Whisper M or BQ PP11 CM600 as well. These are priced reasonably&similarily.
