Surface Book battery/detach issue.

Hello,

My surface book has some issues. I am unable to detach the screen because it says the battery doesn't have enough charge to do so.

 

The battery menu shows battery 1 is fine, but battery 2 is "0% but not charging" while plugged in.

 

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
 

I don't understand why it doesn't work.
