I have never had a true gaming pc the closest I have come is a laptop with i7 chip set and no dedicated graphics that was more intended to run spreadsheets and word then run games and would pretty much crash when ever i would try to play one of my multiple free games or rocket. fast forward 4 years and all my friends are PC gamers and I have always dreamed of a gaming PC I would like to keep the budget 1000 (preferably below) I live in Minnesota if there are any questions or suggestion I would love answer and look into them and hope to receive feedback good or bad. Thank you

Also any suggestions on cheaper but still good looking and peripherals mostly monitor

better gpu, 1tb ssd, but worse cpu, motherboard (slightly), cooler (slightly), psu (just less wattage), also cheaper than your build.

They are nowhere near the same price. You are looking at $145 or so difference between the 1060 and 2060 for the cheapest versions.

i'm aware but take a look at the 1060 in his build....350$. If he's willing to spend 350 on a 1060 he should just get a 2060 obviously

It is only $350 from that particular vendor. It is $261 after rebate from Newegg. If he is happy with a GTX 1060 (Or RX 580) then there are cheaper versions for under $200.

Not trying to hijack a post,

I am looking today to buy a 1k machine and this looks like a good system. I am going to wait for presidents day Monday and hopefully catch a sale. Is there any last minute revisions to this list before i pull the trigger on it Monday?
