Heavy flickering with certain applications. (SOLVED)

This literally just started happening out of nowhere 3-4 days ago, ive had this system for over 3 years now. Problem occurs with browser fullscreen videos and microsoft office applications (including outlook....).

Nvidia Driver: 418.81

Any1 who knows what causes this?

I guess you already tried reinstalling the driver. When doing so, did you go the "Express" way in the installer or did you go the "Custom" way and checked the "Perform clean install" checkbox?

Yes nice job Ubtivuptiz good post!  Listen to him Crispybagel, but also we don't know if you have done DDU yet from safe mode and what not.  Also I would try another driver verstion,, one version older to be exact and what not.

I just had a thought: Maybe it could be the new Free Sync capability they baked in to the newest driver version.

This worked like a charm, thanks! Dont know why i didnt do this earlier since ive tried reverting to old drivers and reinstalling etc.

Or you could have done a DDU from safe mode ,, same result.
