I have a system build in mind with a threadripper 2950x

My goal is to have the system be a good balance between productivity, game development, streaming and gaming and these are the parts I currently have picked.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vYFgfH

CPU: AMD - Threadripper 2950X 3.5 GHz 16-Core Processor  ($869.99
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Wraith Ripper 76.4 CFM CPU Cooler  ($143.54
Motherboard: Asus - ROG Strix X399-E Gaming EATX TR4 Motherboard  ($349.99
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($189.99
Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive  ($247.99
Storage: Seagate - BarraCuda Pro 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($107.99
Video Card: Asus - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card  ($529.89
Case: Cooler Master - COSMOS C700P ATX Full Tower Case  ($299.93
Power Supply: Cooler Master - MasterWatt 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($59.99
Total: $2799.30

What improvements can be made to this build? I'm also unsure about the power supply as well, or if these parts even work well with one another for what im trying to achieve.

Im upgrading from an asus gaming laptop. It was a more useful idea at the time I got it, but now its almost always hooked up to a monitor at home anyway and I have a surface laptop 2 for on the go work, so I figured i'd sell it and grab this puppy.

Dont get the wraith ripper. Its pretty bad, get a deepcool fryzen(better) or u14s TR4(better) or liqtech 360 TR4(best)

that case is stupidly overpriced, also get a better psu.

also get 4-channel ram, 2920x with quad channel > 2950x with 2. Overall I’d get a 2920x with a 2080 and a different case(or a 1950x)

i would personally get a bit more powerful of a psu, maybe like a 650w?  also that case is pretty overpriced for what you get, if your looking for a nice case with ample room maybe look at nzxt's h700i?  i love mine personally

much much better air cooler, 850w of platinum goodness, 6TB of HDDs for a sweet Raid 0 game/other shit library, 32gb of quad channel RGB ram, a great RTX 2080 (if you want brand continuity, get the 2080 aorus its also really good), cheaper same performing ssd, cheaper non EATX motherboard, and a great case with usb c, and space for water-cooling (420 top, 360 front)

Wow I actually think this is better. I considered that gigabyte board first and now it's looking way better.

Thanks so much. Just might go with this.
