Thank you in advance for the help guys and Gals.

System:

I5-2500k

Asus Macimus IV Gene Z

Corsair Vengeance 16gb (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)

Evga BR 450W

GTX 1050

Problem:

on main Bios screen it is only showing 8gb ram when i drill down it shows all 4 dim slots populated

in windows resource manager it only shows 8gb installed

in CPU-Z it shows 16gb installed

When i choose XMP profile in bios it refuses to boot and throws error code 59

I have checked to make sure memory is seated  properly, i have also updated bios to newest windows 8 version .

Going to be a bit time consuming but first I'd do some trial and error.

Take all 4 memory modules out, take some scotch tape, and put it on them so you can label them 1 thru 4. Trust me, will help you not get them mixed up. Put one stick in at a time and see if your system boots up and detects it. If all 4 work fine you know your RAM is good. After that it's all about adding 1 stick at a time to see if any of your DIMMs are bad.

Okay hard to capture but here we go, @ThisIsCheez stick one worked in all slots but in slot B2 caused graphical issues when checking. This only happens when a stick is in slot B2.

Do you get that same issue in B2 with all other sticks?

Yeah

Sounds like you may have a bad memory channel then. Would make since if you're using 4x4gb and only getting 8gb to show up.

I'd suggest clearing the CMOS and maybe even reseating your CPU. If you're still having issues you may have just had a stroke of bad luck.

Damn, friend. Sounds like you have a memory channel messed up on your motherboard :(
