GPU OR CPU

So here is my question i have been slowly working on upgrading a pc that i have had for almost 5 years. I currently have about $250 to spend on the next component. Now i know that doing a CPU will help my gaming some but i am thinking that my GTX 750 TI is not liking having two screens attached to it. So should i spend money on a GPU or a CPU? Id get a RX 570 4GB and a i3-4170 or i5

They're selling RX 570s for 149$ and the haswell cpu's should be less than 100$

You may be able to upgrade both. You can probably get a cheap CPU upgrade from Ebay (maybe a 4570?) and still have enough left over to get a cheap version of the RX 580

Atm my mother board can only handle a Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150 CPU. I wish i could afford a new board and cpu as i like AMD better but this is what i have
