I have tried the jumper technique I see everywhere for resetting the CMOS. but once I turn the computer on it pops up "American Megatrends" and gives me The option to recover the BIOS setting and nothing else I am doing this because I forgot my BIOS password. I am using an Asus H170-Pro15495718409638029857489983718845.thumb.jpg.a34dfb49849f37492cae364d838d0469.jpg

F1 starts the BIOS.

It's saying for you to go to the BIOS if you want to recover the BIOS settings, but it will not actually do so by just entering the BIOS and doing nothing else.
