Prime 95 Problems

tugadude4

So i've been having some problems with prime 95, like when i start to stress my pc it shutsdown for no reason, my temps are good, around ~43c, but after like 5s off stress it shutsdown, can anyone help me?

My rig

cpu:fx8120

cooler: noctua nh-d14

mobo:asrock n68-vs3 fx (i know its a really crappy motherboard, i'll be gettin the saberthooth 990fx soon)

Psu: Corsair gs700

Gpu: asus 7850

ram: kingson blu 4gb

And the case if you are wondering about the airflow is the zalman z11 plus

So i have two theories, one is that my mobo can't supply all the power my cpu needs, wich is what i find most probable, second one is that prime95 has an issue with my cpu/system wich i fing very hard to beleive

BTW im not oc'd

CPU: Amd fx 8120 3.9ghz...Motherboard: Asus m5a97 evo R:2.0...RAM: 8gb 1600 kingston hyperx blu...GPU: XFX R9 280x ...CASE: Nzxt h440...

HDD: Kingston adata ssd 500 gigs, wd blue 500gb...PSU: Corsair gs700...Monitors: Asus vk222h Cooler: Noctua nh-d14...Keyboard:coolermaster masterkeys m...Mouse: logitech g300...Headphones: Logitech g430

I think thats the info in the file called "prime." Do you have a file next to it that is called "results"?

5 seconds under load.

It's cutting off due to overcurrent or overheating.

I wouldn't do any Prime95 tests and run the CPU at stock clock and voltage until the Sabortooth arrives.

Yeah i think its overcurrent since the temps are at 42c
