Is there any way to "spoof" a gpu?

Hi, I recently got a Vega64 for the 3 free games pro and was super stoked to play RE2 but the card was DOA...

 

I put my 970 back in so that I could get playing it but the AMD website tells me they didnt detect a vega 64 or RX590 which I need to redeem the codes. Is there any way around this while I go through the lengthy RMA process?

Contact AMD, hear them what you can do, since you'll be popping in your Vega64 when it comes back,

I currently am doing that but that's a 2 week wait at the least and I wanted to play RE2 in the mean time...
