Hello

In my system i have:  MSI Z270-A pro, I7-7700k, rtx 2070, 2*8gb 3200 MHz/16, NZXT kraken 52X waterkooling, 2 stock fans off 240mm, gaming mouse, gaming keyboard and a 750w bronze coolermaster PCU.

If i try to overclock either/both the GPU or/and the CPU im missing frames in-game (Rainbow six Siege) or same other stuff is happening

GPU overclock: mem clock 7200 GPU clock 2100. CPU clock speed 4600

I have looked at some PCU calculators: https://outervision.com, Cooler Master and some more.

But they all say something different where the lowest PCU was 500w and the highest 1300w

Do i need a upgrade for the PCU or not

You mean psu(power supply unit) right?

It depends. If you have a really crappy coolermaster 750w then you would need to upgrade, otherwise no, as those components draw max 500w.

So what is the model of your psu?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Power supply calculators over estimate like crazy. I put my rig in my signature and you can see a clear disconnect.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Then your overclock probably isn't stable. Try stress testing when you're overclocking to make sure it's stable.

PSU wattage isn't an issue.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450
