New recording setup

I made a setup to record videos and its not doing great what should I upgrade specs are in txt document.Thanks.

Out videos to a SSD when recording would be what I suggest.

What are you trying to record and how are you trying to record it? As far as I can tell that should be perfectly fine.

I'm recording fortnite and the footage just seems mediocre at best and for some reason my computer can't handle both.

These are acceptable specs, what all is not working right? Nevermind, I saw your reply.

(If you are getting crappy FPS, please ensure that you use the HDMI/Display Port output from your RX 580, as opposed to the one directly on your motherboard.) _{(That CPU has no on-board video)}

 

I would also suggest using Open Broadcasting Software for your recording, as it has a relatively small performance overhead.

How are you recording footage? OBS? FRAPS? Windows 10 Game Bar? Unregistered HyperCam 2?

If he was connected via motherboard for display he would get nothing Ryzen 5 doesn't have integrated graphics

Ah duh . I forgot that for Ryzen chips to have on-board graphics, they had to specifically be branded as such.
