Mad Catz 5 mouse issues

I got a Mad Catz 5 mouse off facebook and it worked when i plugged it in but once i installed the driver it quit working. I unstalled the drivers restarted and it worked again but i cant get the software to work with programing the buttons.

Laptop - Dell 9570 - i9, 32GBs of Ram, 1TB SSD, GTX 1050Ti, 4K screen.

 

VR computer - i5 3570K - 8GBs of Ram, GTX 1060

Can you give us some computer specs or fill in your signature ?

I am using a Deli XPS 9570, with an i9, 32GBs of ram, 1TB SSD, and a 1060TI. I have heard you need a usb 2 but i thought 3 was backward compatible with 2.
