I just got my first mechanical keyboard, a backlit Ducky Zero.

I just wanna ask.... how can I reverse Caps Lock LED?

Normally when Caps Lock is activated, its led will turn on, and when its not activcated, its off.

Now in my keyboard, that led is underneath the key Capslock itself, and it kinda bothers me when it's not lighting up just because it is not activated, while all the other keys are illuminating.

Can you rip the keyboard open and use some pro soldering skills to extend the wires lighting up the A key to the caps lock?

The other day I asked someone about creating your own media keys. He said it was not possible, but it happened. :D

Can't do that. I wont risk my keyboard, and I don't have pro soldering skillz. I won't mind using any software, though.

Sadly not I have the same problem with my Ducky Shine III but now I have gotten used to it. I really don't see why the couldn't have separate LED indicators :/

Everything has bad factors, even Ducky's heavenly keyboards, but I can see why they went this route. They chose a more minimalistic approach yet still stylish, but what they don't realize is that SOME OF THEIR FANS HAVE OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDERS.

You can use Windows StickyKeys to have the Shift button always active, which will reverse the work of CapsLock. However, having Shift always ON is annoying.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have an old Sony laptop (VPCF115FM, Windows 8.1) and it happened yesterday. The solution I found was keep CAPS LOCK key pressed for about 5 seconds then I typed a few things to see if had became normal. After a few tries pressing CAPS LOCK this way, the LED's status logic had reversed.
