Hi :-)

I have a bigger problem with my RAID controller of one of my servers. I forgot which password I used for the RAID controller, so unfortunately I cannot control the RAID setup -
stupid of me :-)

It is an older RAID controller of the brand HighPoint RocketRAID - Model: RocketRAID 3560.

My server has been reinstalled since I last created the password for the RAID controller, so WebGUI cannot be accessed either.

I have read several places on the web that flash Bios and Firmware were
should reset the RAID controller to standard password.

I downloaded the last Firmware / BIOS Version v1.2.15.23 and started up in DOS and used the flashelf.exe file.

I used the following commands to flash:

flashelf.exe 3560bios.blf
flashelf.exe 3560fpga.blf
flashelf.exe 3560fw.blf
flashelf.exe 3560ldr.blf

It looks like it is flashing, and also completed with the text "finished".

But when I restart the server and either access the controller via bios (CTRL + H) or via WebGUI, it will not accept the default password on bios "hpt", and WebGUI user "RAID" password "hpt".

I have tried to contact HighPoint, but their support is unfortunately not very helpful.

Information on RAID controller can be found here:  http://www.highpoint-tech.com/hpt_cn/China_new/rr3500_download.htm

Is there anyone who can help, or know what might be the problem.

thanks in advance :-)
