GTX 1070 issue

Heyo, i recently bought a 1070 and ingame the usage of the gpu is around 30%, but when i ran a benchmark (unigine heaven) the gpu usage was 100%.

I already tried asking zotac and nvidia for help and everything they asked me to do didnt help me at all.

The gpu is a ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1070 Mini 8GB (ZT-P10700G), my cpu is i5-4690 (non k), mobo is h81m-r, a single stick of 8gb of ram and the psu is a 600w one.

Could anyone help me :c.

GPU usage depends on what you’re running and how hard it is to run etc

Umm, in games like overwatch the gpu usage is 30% and its 90-100fps which is a problem. And a friend has the same specs as me and his gpu is running at 80-90 usage.

Sounds totally fine as long as you have a 60 hz monitor

There is indeed something wrong. I assume it is 1080p. It should be 90-100 fps in 1440p

 

checked if your dirvers are all up to date?

They are, and yes 1080p. I ddu'd and then installed new drivers.

could be a cpu ram bottleneck. Try going on ebay, get a cheap (30$) stick of 8gb ddr3, and see if it improves. If not, well you have more ram for web browsing.
