Good gpu for running Ark

Ark is the hardest game for me to run on my PC. Besides fallout 4 which is just acting weird. But I was looking into upgrading my asus fml 750ti. I can currently play it at 720p with mostly ok settings with 55-75 fps. But I want to run it at 1080p, even though my monitor caps at 900p, with mostly high settings. I dont think a gtx 1060 6gb will do so though, or Rx 580 8gb. I feel like ill need a 1070 or Vega 56 or 64. By the way, is it weird to have a 900p monitor that has a 75hz refresh rate?

You'll want to run your games at 900p, running at native resolution is almost always a better experience than trying to upsample or downsample.

 

You're severely underestimating the GTX 1060 and RX 580, both cards are about triple the performance of your current card, and will have absolutely no issues with ARK.

Ok thx, its just the videos on yt testing the cards with ark seemed odd.

a gtx1070 can be had for $200~ on ebay. i assume your not trying to hurt the wallet.
