first ever pc build and want some help with it. One potential issue I may see is also that the ram is not listed as supported on MSI’s website, but I am not sure if it will work anyway. I also found this deal on a 1060 and am wondering if I should jump on it and upgrade some other parts. https://store.zotac.com/zotac-geforcer-gtx-1060-mini-zt-p10600a-10l-1723

any suggestions you have will help. Thanks

The RAM will work. You just have to enable a setting in the BIOS to get it running at the full rated 3000mhz speed. I don't remember the setting's name off the top of my head (sorry..), but it's like Intel's XMP.

This is a really solid build. You've picked out all the good parts, and the only thing I would change is the PSU. You definitely don't need 700w of power. Take a look at this post, it's a tier list of all the PSUs. Anything in Tier A to Tier C is a good buy. 550 watts is a good wattage amount for the build.

Looks good!

I just made a few changes for higher quality parts and got rid of those fans, they won't give you any benefits. If you want some fans, look at Fractal Designs

i would look at a mix of new and used parts.

like getting a used gtx gtx 1070 over the the rx 580

maybe get a  fir cuda sshd instead

get a mobo with built in wifi

the masterbox is cool and want to build in one but there are other options that will provide better upgrade option in the future
