Different Gpu Multitasking (?)

Drafecito

I have a doubt in my head, and I must say that im not really that tech savy, so if im shivering nonsense, tell me.

Is it possible to use two different gpus each one in a different manor? Like, for example an integrated graphics chip for videos, images and the operating sistem and the dedicated graphics card for games and programs

If your GPU driver provides you the option, you can suggest that it use one or the other, but there is no guarantee that it will.

For example, Firefox doesn't care what my setting is: I can't find any change in anything when I change the setting.

Windows Media Player cares what my setting is: My GPU usage goes up if I switch it from "prefer integrated" to "prefer high performance..."

ENCRYPTION IS NOT A CRIME

yes this is possible and usually done by software, you often see this used in laptops that use the iGPU for 2D stuff and switch to the good GPU for 3D stuff.
