Google Home help!!!

So we recently received a Sony google assistant equipped smart speaker from some friends (this one https://www.sony.com/electronics/wireless-speakers/lf-s50g ) it works great and is great for listening music. but there there is a problem, we have also own 2 UE Boom2's and i heard that you can now connect external speakers to google home devices via Bluetooth. except every thing i have tried and every article and forum ive searched cant help me. Is this feature reserved for google made smart speakers? is my Sony one somehow out of date and its not possible because of hardware limitations? or am i just dumb and doing it wrong?

 

Also if its not possible to link them both via Bluetooth then how can i do it without just plugging them into a chrome cast audio each.
