Hello,

My current system configuration is as follows:

Procesor: 4770 (non K)
MB: ASUS Z97P
RAM: 32GB DDR3 1600 (4 module de ?
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB
SSD 1TB Samsung 850 PRO
Monitor HP 1080 (1920 x 1080 60hz)

I'm planning on upgrading my current GPU to a Gigabyte 2060 6GB bacuse I want to be able to play at max settings (1080 resolution) some games like: Farcry 4, Farcry Primal, Mafia 3, GTAV, Witcher 3. I probably won't play newer titles because I don't like multiplayer online games and I hate microtransactions, so I'm going to mostly stick with games released until about 2016-2017. Right now with the above mention configuration I can play the games listed at almost max settings and get FPS in the 40-60 range. What do you guys think, will a RTX 2060 bottleneck this CPU, is this a good upgrade for my current setup?

Thank you!

PS. I'm not going to use ray tracing if the game has support for it because this option would kill the card's performance and I'm satisfied with how the games look without it.

Don't think so, maybe if you to into high refresh rates like 144hz. I'm currently pairing the 2060 with a 1231v3 and get about 70-90 FPS in the Witcher on 1440p (almost ultra, hairworks off).

The 4770 should be almost identical if not slightly faster than the 1231v3 AFAIK.

Yes it will bottleneck in some situations but not enough to worry about.

I have a similar setup 3570k overclocked to 4.4 paired with a 1070.

I get some CPU bottlenecking in select games at 1440p. However not enough to bring frames too low. I think I played the witcher 3 at max at 1440p getting 60  fps average dipping down to 30-40 at points.

The 2060 will probably be the last upgrade for your 4770 though I'd say.

Edit: the bottlenecking in the witcher was GPU not CPU and shouldn't be a problem at 1080.
