Hello my mates pc is busted at the moment and we have the same gpu both work so I was wondering is there any way to run sli and have 1 gpu dedicated to my dragon age origins game and the other dedicated to his vr game my CPU is a ryzen 7 2700x so it can handle it pretty easily and we both have 1060 6gb cards thanks

You don't need SLI, you just need to plug in both graphics cards and pass them through to the VM using the hypervisor

sli is only to combine, you are running two different tasks here. so no need for sli

 

you could do this with a 7950 and a 1060 for example and have no problems, even through they can't communicate with each other
