System upgrade suggestions?

I am looking to upgrade my system and would appriciate some constructive advice on where to start. Durring bench marks it seems that I am getting gpu bottle-necked. I mostly play games like Ark: Survival evolved and some platform types. Would like to keep my system relevant and capable of playing newer titles on med/high settings. I have a pretty tight budget and would have to save for anything over $300.

Core I7 6700

MSI Z170A GAMING M3

2x  CORSAIR 8gb ddr4 2400 (16gb total)

XFX RX470 4GB

Coolmax 900w PSU

SSD 120 gb SATA3

HDD 1 TB SATA3

COOLERMASTER HAF-XB

Windows 10

Oh thats US Dollars and I am open to any upgrades just thought gpu might be the weak link.

The best bet is RTX 2060 at 349$ its gonna provide gtx 1070ti performance spend the extra 50$ and get RTX 2060 its 100% best bet but heres some options

 

 

For 1080p

gtx 1060 6gb

rtx 2060 (1080p/ 1440p) it can do great in both

gtx 1070

gtx 1070ti

gtx 1080

 

4k

rtx 2080

rtx 2080ti

rtx 2070

gtx 1080ti

If you get somthing used it might be MINED on and that would mean its abused and will have a shortened life span

Going from RX 470 to GTX 1070ti would almost double your performance.

1070ti would be a great choice. And wouldn’t worry about lifespan. As the correlation between use and dying hardware is quite dumb and unmeasurable. Like brand new 2080ti’s must be dying from mining.
