I've decided in light of debate and pricing, HEDT Will be the road I travel down. (If the mods want to lock this from replies, please do.)

So with all of that data in mind, yes I intend to use both GPUs simultaneously along with the capture card on occasion for console gaming captures. That being said, should I be concerned with this plan of action. Will I be using too many PCIe Lanes for standard Prosumer builds such as an Intel 9900k or Ryzen 3rd Gen/2700x? 

If so would an HEDT Build be better for me i.e. Threadripper 2 or Intel HEDT 9800X?

 

I just need to know the PCIe Consequences of my selections, not recommendations for specific CPUs.
