Which GPU?

A friend of mine told me earlier today that a GTX 1070 would be better than a GTX 1060, but I'm on a budget. Would it be better to buy the 1070 or the 1060 for a PC I'm thinking about building?

if you want to save money... a 1060

want to save even more money a 1050

if you dont game then use the onboard gpu

Id probably buy a 1070. But if you are buying a 1070 at or above the 350 dollar mark. You might as well get a 2060 and get a bit more perf and some ray tracing

It really depends on a couple of things:

1. What CPU are you going to be using?
2. What resolution will you be playing at?
3. What is the refresh rate of your monitor?

If you can answer those questions, it would be a lot easier to help you.

A 1070 will be significantly better than a 1060.
Take a look at your local Facebook marketplaces.  I found an EVGA GTX 1070 SC for $250 in October, might even be able to find it cheaper now.
