YouTube copyright issue

Go to solution Solved by eira,

You can, it's just that if you do that then it'll be claimed by you and not the original creator of the video, which defeats what you're trying to do.

I know you're trying to do a good thing but it's just not worth it.

Hi guys. I know I probably should not be posting this here, but how do I report a video that copied someone else’s (not mine)?

this badass called baskar siva copied M hansan’s video and got more views.

the only report option that is close to what I want is infringes my rights. But it is infringing other people’s rights.

Youtube Copyright protection working its magic right here.

You can't report videos for copyright infringement unless you are the copyright holder of the original content, or represent the copyright holder. See if "M Hasan" has a contact email address listed on his youtube profile that you could email and notify them about the copyright infringement, however given that it's a 5 year old video I doubt they care.
