HyperX Cloud Microphone Loose Problem

Hello,

 

I've recently bought a pair of Kingston's Hyperx Cloud I (Not II) headphones and they are working great. However, when attaching the detachable microphone to the headset, it falls off and doesn't connect well the way it should. Is there a specific way of sliding it or? I'd like to know.
