After help with RAM choice

Hey there,

I currently have a  DDR4 1x8gb 2400 RAM and am looking to upgrade to 16gb.

I guess there are 3 options...

1. Buy the same model ram

2. Buy a different stick of 1x8gb 2400 ram from a different manufacturer

3. Just buy a 16gb set and keep the old one and just have 24gb

Which would be most beneficial computing wise and money wise.
