Ryzen Master Application Crashing on Start Up

Hey guys,

ive been trying to overclock my r7 1700 for a while using the ryzen application but have not been able to due to my PC freezing as soon as the application is launched. i am then required to restatrt the whole PC.

Anyone else had the same issue? its been like this for a few months now...:(

Your first step will be making sure your drivers are properly installed and BIOS is updated.

 

Notably the Ryzen chipset drivers appropriate to your chipset.  Download them directly from AMD I would suggest.

On the AMD website it says under drivers, to download the application which im having issues with, and its the only option.

i resulted in uninstalling and reinstalling. 

 

seemed to work........

maybe by reinsatlling i updated the drivers???

actually, it crashed just after it started.. what happened was , after you overclock via the app, you have to restart.

it crahed right after.:(Do you knwo any other fixes??
