 This is my build

Corei5 8400  
Asus b360 md 
16gb corsair ddr4 
Cabinet cooler master
Ssd 240 gb wd  
2tb hdd sata wd  
This is my build do i need to add a 600watt psu .please help me out

no need for 600 watts, but there are probably some high quality 600 watt units available regardless that are still a good buy.

Alternatively, one of these is really nice.

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Similar to my older build (6th gen CPU). I have a 650 watt power supply (was on sale) for that plus 2 additional HDD, Blu-Ray player and a 960 GTX. Could go with a 600 watt since not all of the stuff is running at same time.

Got a computer problem? Update the BIOS! ?

Since there's no graphics card you could use 200W PSU, but there are too many unproven stuff down there. Make sure you check the PSU list and buy something tier C or higher

What video card you have.  To drive your system all you need is a good 450 watt PSU and your set.  While gaming your wattage usage will be in the 300's and close to 400watts... good luck.

No graphics card?  If you plan on using the on chip 630 UHD, you could get away with running this thing on a power brick.
