Running headphone cable under PC

While I would not say that this is not alright, but unless you feel like replacing your headphones or doing some ugly DIY work, I would recommend against it, as it will put an unnecessary load on the cable.

I wouldn't do that if I were you, especially if there are ventilation holes on the underside. Then you'd be introducing vibrations and other ambient noise variables in the cable that would effect your listening experience.
