Posted January 21, 2019 I know it's just another post about which VR setup I should get, but I hope I can get some decent advice from you guys. I've been saving up for a while to get a VR system, and as of now, I don't know which setup to go to. I've read pros and cons of both systems, but nothing really seems to stand out to sway my decision. I'm all about the "active" game where you have to get up and move around a bit (I will be playing beat saber a lot as well), and my setup space is good for it. I've read that the Rift has tracking that's just as good as the Vive's when you have a 3rd, or even 4th sensor, although 4 seems unnecessary. Currently in my pc I have an 8700k and a 1070 8gb so I'm not worried about that aspect of it either. Would it be worth the savings to get a rift with a 3rd sensor, or should I pony up the extra cash for the vive? What kind of setup does the vive have for audio if you don't get the duluxe audio strap... I'm particular to the vive, mainly becasue that's what I've used in the past, and I fell in love with the experience, but I am open to the Rift if it's just as good...
