First of all let's get this straight, these are sub $20 micophones so i wouldn't expect much in terms of like actual sound quality.
Not being rude but most sub $20 microphones aren't that great.
however behringer does have a reputation in making some great budget mic's for around the $50 price range.

As to which brand is better.
Thats mostly comes down to personal preference.
They have both been in the audio game for years.
so in my opinion there isn't really a definitive answer.

as for what is the best choice for you?
i would go online and check out reviews, sound tests and recordings.
compare them, what do you hear what do you like.
like for example:
Behringer:
is it bright or moody
how loud is the output, does it have excessive noise etc etc

do that for both microphones and pick what would fit best in your scenario.

i hope this was helpful

I woudlnt put much into the brand to decide which is better (unless its 'Beats' or some such), especialy at that price range. best to just go by reviews.

Is there a way to put like a small piece of foam around the mic to act as a wind sock? ive seen that before but i do know it wouldent greatly, but improve sound quality it would help a bit.

Only really helps if you're got the mic to close to prevent the pfft sound of speaking in. Also makes them look a bit nicer, I personally didn't notice any difference when I worked in industry, but I mainly did lighting soo...

I make intelligent lights do cool things

Placed order for a Pop filter. Since, dynamic mics are unidirectional.
