Hello,

I am a new streamer on Twitch and I have seen many streamers with the Elgato Stream Deck. I don't have enough money to afford one of those but I want a way to control my stream from my phone. The only downside is that I use a service called Shadow (Covered by Linus here) and I am not on the same internet as my phone. This means that I cannot use services like Streamlabs Remote or other services. Any ideas/suggestions?

How does Shadow work? Is it a windowed program inside a local PC? If so, you'll probably need to run the capture and broadcast software on your machine. Alternatively if it is just that tiny box that's a link to an outside server you'll need to get a separate PC and a way to capture the display output of the box if you want to control it with your phone.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shadow is basically a full screen window inside of my local PC. It connects to a set of data centres in Paris that run with pretty decent specs (Xeon E5, GTX 1080, 12GB RAM). There are ways to connect USBs to the computer but it takes up a lot of bandwidth and I can't afford loosing bandwidth as I don't have much to go off of as my family are always on the internet. I get about 20Mbps and I can't switch to 5GHz due to my PC being so old.
