Flying with GPU

My GPU is in its original packaging, but I don’t know whether to carry it on the plane or check it in. What have you guys done? I live in the US and am leaving from Chicago.

carry it, you might need to get rid of the package and documentation though, depends how shitty your customs is.

OUR* customs comrad , But he's flying within the united states so there should be no need. I think your best just to carry it so it doesn't get damaged. I would be surprised if anyone would really look twice at a GPU let alone think it was not allowed

Declare it at the airport if you do not do this they will seize it and make you pay tax. Make sure to say it’s used but you decided to put it in the box.

 

if you say it’s new, you’d pay more tax if you don’t pay, they will seize it.
