What wrong restart lock screen stuck

Ah yes, the traditional Windows 8/8.1/10 login screen bug. Please tell us what version of Windows you're running, along with if there are any pending updates to install. However, note that most likely you'll be needing to reinstall Windows from scratch as it's usually not worth the time troubleshooting & fixing issues on OS's that fail to provide any meaningful data to the user, such as non-Unix OS's like Windows.

Gotcha, so you'll want to try Safe Mode, then try a restore point or rollback the update. After that, I'd be doing a reinstall & restore from backup, as it's not worth the time it would take to try discovering the cause and fixing it. In rare cases, I've had it be corrupted nVidia / AMD drivers that I've had to forceably remove using Safe Mode.

If this doesn't solve the problem, the last thing you can try is creating a second user account using the built-in administrator account (you have to enable this from the recovery area or from within safe mode) and logging in to that account. This will immediately tell you if it's just your user profile that's corrupt, or if you need to reinstall Windows.

Thanks for giving that a go - that tells us your user profile is corrupt, or Windows is borken. You can try following the guide on the NeoSmart site I've used in the past, however, be sure you have a backup of your data in case this fails, as you'll be tinkering with the Windows registry which can cause complete failure of your Windows. https://neosmart.net/wiki/corrupt-user-profile/

If you're not comfortable trying this, your next steps would be reinstalling Windows & restoring data from a backup, or taking the computer to a trained professional PC technician to have them do this for you.
