Alienware AW2518HF Flickering

Good afternoon, yesterday i go my monitor but after a few hours of use it started flickering, mostly during games. 

Im runing an alienware 15r3 with a i7 6700hq and a gtx 1070, im outpoting it to the monitor through mini displayport 1.2 to a displayport adapter at 1920x1080 at 240hz, ive tried a different outpout hdmi 2.0 also at 1080p 240hz both of them are still flickering, if i downgrade it to 144hz it still does that, so im wondering if its my laptop thats the problem or my monitor, i have also tried to install other gpu drivers version but its the same thing so if anyone could help me. Thanks
