Hey,

I'm looking for a small ATX case under £100. So far I think I will be going for the 300R or the R4. I need to be able to mount a H100i inside and it should be able to support 140mm intake fans. I trying to go for a small mid tower case. Ideally something in the style of the Air 540, but that is too expensive.

In case you were wondering why I'm being so specific; I want to move old hardware out of my Switch 810 which is way too big for the job, the PC works and doesn't really need the upgrade, however, it would look much better in a small case, and more importantly, not stick out from under the desk.

Are there any alternative choices to the 300R or the R4 that are reasonable in price and comparable in quality, and which one should I go for; both seem to be very good cases. Right now I'm leaning towards the 300R because of £10 smaller price.

n.b.: I am ordering from amazon.co.uk due to an Amazon Prime Trial which gives me free next day shipping.

Thanks.

g-man, i'm going thru the same ordeal and have tapped NZXT for the new H440

to do all the down-sizing, water capable (AIO/custom) quiet, sleek, and under £100.

heres my starter link: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/102063-case-for-a-360mm-and-a-240mm-rad/?p=1366426

TTL gave it his only once TTL White Gold Award.

the 300R is very tough to get the H100/i into the roof without fouling something.

and i've gotten weary on these newer cases that are just MEH with a lot of almost

features, but nothing dead-on. and it looks like the H440 is going to make that a reality.

since the Switch810, NZXT has been on a true course on cases, lately. i'd looked at the

530/630 cases and just wasn't keen on the fabbing to make it usable for my tastes.
