help please

i have BEHRINGER XENYX X1204USB and would like to also use my cloudlifter but for some reason it doesnt work 

when i have my shure sm7b plugged straight in to the mixer it works fine but not with the lifter. any reason why its not working? thanks

I have.. the weird thing is it works fine without the cloudlifter. I just want that extra boost.

Oh is it compatible with the cloudlifter?

I’ve seen other people using them with the same exact everything.. mixer mic etc..

I just read the discription of the product and it didn’t say anything about it being compatible with a cloudlifter so it most likely isn’t. Is there any buttons that are labled cloudlifter?

They’re aren’t but like I said there is a streamer that uses literally the same everything and his works. Maybe I’m doing something wrong

@ifunnnn Make sure you've turned phantom power on when you're using the cloudlifter. Despite the sm7b being dynamic the cloudlifter needs phantom power to work. There's a switch on the back next to the power switch. Be careful that you've not got anything plugged into the mic inputs that would be damaged by phantom power as it's applied universally to channels 1-4.

Yes I don’t know what I was talking with the mixer about but no one was helping so I just tried as much as I could to help. I mostly know about computers but just tried to help!
