So, I'm having this internal battle with myself and I can't seem to come to an actual answer.

The question is simply do I upgrade just my GPU or everything?

My current Rig;
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower Case
CPU: Intel 4820K 3.70GHz (Ivybridge-E) Socket LGA2011 running at 4.4ghz
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H105 Extreme Performance Liquid Cooler
Mobo: Asus P9X79 Intel X79 (Socket 2011)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB DDR3 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 780Ti DirectCU II 3072MB GDDR5
PSU: SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 1000W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" (Overkill I know but this was because the 850w Corsair was no longer in stock and OCUK substituted this in instead)
SSD: Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache

Now I know my system is old but it's served me well. I am running a 1440p uw monitor and it's struggling a little now.

So will buying let's say a rtx2080 solve my issues or is my cpu going to bottleneck me? Do I upgrade everything now or wait for ryzen 3? Or will my current system still manage?

Any thoughts?
