Best headset

Kind of depends on what you're looking for, to be honest. I can't remember if the Sennheiser Game One's are closed or open, but they have great sound and an amazing mic so I do suggest them as an option.

currently have sennheiser g4me open headset, they are really good but im open to other options as they are several years old

You could consider getting regular headphones and then buying a separate microphone that attaches to your headset.

 

HyperX has a lot of good stuff, take a look.

Take a look at Sennheiser 598C's

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

 

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Does he want stereo or a virtual surround 7.1 with mic like the Razer Tiamat 7.1.just a simple usb connection and your good to go.

i dont need 7.1 in cs, could buy mod mice, also have a blue yeti wich i can use so its not needed to have a mic on the headset

If you don't need surround sound and already have a mic then get a stereo HP and what have you.
